Woman's Club of Hermosa Beach
ABOUT US
The Woman's Club of Hermosa Beach promotes the quality of life--in the broadest sense of that term--for residents of Hermosa Beach, the South Bay, and ultimately our global community.  "Thinking globally, acting locally" would be a fair description of the Club's practical approach to enriching the human experience.  This is acheived through a mix of philanthropic support for worthy organizations, and of volunteer hours spent on specific projects endorsed by the Club.  Most of the Club's resources support things as local as Hermosa Beach's grade schools, Friends of the Hermosa Beach Library, scholarships for students at Redondo Union HS and Mira Costa HS, South Bay Literacy Council and much, much more.  Yet, through projects such as "Adrienne's Search for the Cure" benefiting pediatric cancer patients, "Friends of Soldiers" which sends toiletries to US service personnel overseas, and the Sister Cities Project, the Club's philanthropy can have a national and even international reach.
Woman's Club of Hermosa Beach is a member of the California Federation of Women's Clubs and the General Federation of Women's Clubs.
