What does the Club do?
The Club gives members the opportunity to volunteer in areas of their choosing to help the community and foster education and culture, the opportunity to participate in philanthropic assistance to worthy causes, and the opportunity to socialize with other public-spirited women of all ages in a stimulating environment.
Must I be a Hermosa Beach resident to join?
No. Many of our members are from neighboring towns, and some from quite a ways off.
Does the Club have political or religious affiliations?
No. While respecting the views of all individuals, as a non-profit organization WCHB takes no positions of a religious or political nature, and we encourage members to focus on those important things that unite us.
Who runs the Club?
WCHB is very member-directed. A Board of Officers is elected annually.
Where does the Club meet?
General Meetings are held at 11am on the 2nd Wednesday, September through April at the Clark Building (861 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach); in December and May the meeting is held at a local restaurant.
What is the Club's Mailing Address?
The Woman's Club of Hermosa Beach receives correspondence at P.O. Box 43, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.
I can't attend during the day, is there an Evening Section?
Yes. These meetings are available to those who cannot make day meetings, or would just prefer evening meetings. Evening Section meetings take place bi-monthly usually on the 3rd Tuesday evening at a local restaurant. Please contact us for information.
How much are annual dues?
Dues for the 2018 - 2019 year will be $40.
Does the Club accept donations?
Yes! We gladly accept donations in any amount by paypal on our Home page or by check to our P.O. Box.
What are the Club colors?
In 2015, the Club adopted the colors of Blue and White.
Does the Club have a logo?
Yes. In 2018, the Club adopted the logo of , designed by Erin Caceres, a Hermosa Beach resident and the daughter of long time member, Robin Caceres.
What are the Club's affiliations?
WCHB is a member of Marina District 18 of the California Federation of Women's Clubs, and is affiliated with the General Federation of Women's Clubs. For more about them visit their respective websites:
